Robert Schachter is a psychologist with more than 30 years of experience helping individuals overcome their anxieties, depressions, phobias, OCDs, relationship problems as well as manage their anger and stress issues.
He is an author and an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Psychiatry of Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, where he teaches stress management and cognitive therapy. He is also the director of Stress Centers of New York and has worked extensively in the area of stress management and motivation.
He has lectured nationally and internationally, and is an experienced talk show guest, as well as local news shows. Schachter has completed two national media tours and has been quoted as an authority in dozens of publications. His first book, When Your Child Is Afraid, was published by Simon and Schuster in 1988.
